OUR JOURNEY
Our church was sent out of The Door Church in Tucson in 1984 and began with a bible study in San Manuel, Az. The Bible study quickly grew and the church got a building in oracle. The first pastor was Pastor Gary Childress. After praying he felt God tell him to go to Nineveh. He immediately left Oracle and moved the church to Mammoth where it has been for over 30 years.
Pastor Robert Sherman and his family took over the Church and rose up the next disciple that would take over the church, Pastor Mario Sanchez. Pastor Mario and Lydia Sanchez pastored the church until they were sent out to Fountain, Colorado. They turned the church over to Pastor Lazaro and Antoinette Cardenas. They pastored the Mammoth church for 10 years until they turned the church back over to Pastor Mario and Lydia Sanchez. During their 2nd term as pastors, they rose up disciples and sent out Pastor Adam and Lizette Peobles to take over the Mesquite, NV church. Pastor Mario and Lydia Sanchez were then sent to pioneer in Lubbock Texas. Pastor Ronnie and Diana Lujan from Las Vegas, NM took over the church then eventually turned it over to local and current Pastor Joshua and Erica Sanchez.
Mammoth is a small community but God has done powerful things. This Church has produced 3 pastors, 2 missionaries, and 1 evangelist. Pastor Mario and Lydia Sanchez were discipled in the Mammoth church and pastored the mammoth church 2 separate times, pioneered in Fountain, Colorado, pioneered in Mesquite, NV, Lubbock, TX, has been an evangelist twice out of Las Vegas, NM, and they also pioneered an international church in Belmopan Belize. Pastor Adam And Lizette Peoble were discipled and sent out from Mammoth to take over the church in Mesquite, NV where they discipled and sent out a couple. They were the first international work sent out of the Las Vegas Christian Center conference body into San Ignacio Belize. Pastor Joshua and Erica Sanchez were discipled in Mammoth and took over the Mammoth Potters House and are currently overseeing the church.
OUR ROOTS
The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church of Mammoth, Arizona is a Christian Fellowship Ministries' Church (CFM). CFM, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Pastor Wayman Mitchell. A spiritual fire was launched that is spanning the globe. Now, over 3,200 churches have been planted in over 130 nations of the world with the number growing daily. From that, crusades and conferences sprung up that are touching tens of thousands every year. This church is a product of that vision and is working to see it expanded in the short time that remains before Jesus' return. God has given us a vision for the day we live in. Our message is simple, yet it is the cornerstone of all truth. Jesus Christ is the only hope for man's salvation and that is true with every person in every nation on the globe. In a world full of empty dreams and false promises is a truth which grows stronger every year, and that is Jesus Christ and Him crucified!
WORSHIP
The focus of worship at The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church of Mammoth is to provide an inviting atmosphere where men and women can experience, first-hand, the gracious and loving presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire to allow the Holy Spirit to create an openness in people’s hearts so that they may receive the preaching of the Word of God.
We invite you to join us at the beginning of each service for an uplifting time of praise and worship. You will be refreshed and encouraged in the tangible presence of God.

LOCAL LEADERSHIP
In our local church, God has given us a powerful revival of men and we are obeying the command by Jesus in Matthew 28:19 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations..." As we have grown as a church, men have grown into leadership roles which have been the foundation of our ministers, our leaders, and our Church council. Here at The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church of Mammoth, Arizona we strongly believe it’s important to get to know one another. JOSHUA AND ERICA SANCHEZ
PASTOR
Pastor Joshua Sanchez was born in Florence, AZ but was raised in Mammoth, AZ. He was dedicated as a baby in the Mammoth Potter’s House. At the age of 6, his parents divorced and he became angry with God and didn’t want anything to do with him. When he got into his teenage years he got into drugs and heavy drinking. You name the drug he tried it just to try it.
